Singapore urged building companies to take a two-week “security trip” this month after a surge in office fatalities.
Ten individuals died in building accidents between July and October this yr.
The Ministry of Manpower stated the determine urged a “lowered emphasis” on security, and known as for senior administration to pause work between 8 and 22 November and “interact with web site groups and employees, overview security protocols, and tackle security issues”.
The ministry prioritised strikes by falling objects, vehicular security, and secure lifting and rigging.
