The Worldwide Finance Company (IFC), a part of the World Financial institution, will lend $301m to a developer in Mexico to construct “reasonably priced, inexperienced housing”.
The mortgage goes to developer and homebuilder Vinte Viviendas, which in its 21-year historical past has developed round 60,000 properties in six states in Mexico.
$58m of the mortgage will assist Vinte Viviendas purchase a rival developer in Mexico, Servicios Corporativos Javer, a deal introduced in July.
