A selected purpose is to assemble Sweden’s first SMR energy plant by 2032. The power could have two reactors, and can provide electrical energy to AI knowledge centres in addition to the Swedish grid. This partnership marks Samsung C&T’s newest step towards increasing its SMR enterprise throughout Europe, and follows an settlement to construct SMRs in Romania signed in July.
