UK designers Heatherwick Studio are working with South Korea’s Haeahn Structure on a makeover of Hanwha Galleria, a twin-building division retailer in Seoul’s Gangnam ward of Apgujeong-dong, near the Han River.
Heatherwick’s design for the 2 buildings proposes inverting the standard inward-facing shopfront and creating public areas surrounding the buildings.
