Spanish building group Rubau and Mexican civil engineer VISE have gained a €300m public–non-public partnership contract to construct and preserve a toll highway between the cities of Silao and San Miguel de Allende within the state of Guanajuato, Mexico.
The highway is to be constructed throughout the subsequent 24 months, after which the 2 corporations will function it for 28 years.
This contract contains the rehabilitation, operation and upkeep of the prevailing freeway between the cities.
The 2 corporations emerged from a longlist of 15 bidders to win the concession.
