UK-headquartered contractor Balfour Beatty this week introduced 4 education-related tasks within the US collectively price $338m.
Three are residential and hospitality tasks in Florida price $168m, and the fourth is a $170m high-school reconstruction in Los Angeles, California.
In Florida, the corporate simply received a $90m contract to construct a 670-bed residence for non-first-year college students at Florida Atlantic College’s Boca Raton campus.
The 203,000-gross-square-foot corridor is aiming for completion for summer season 2026.
In Winter Park, Florida Balfour Beatty is constructing the $54m “East Finish Neighbourhood” at Rollins School.
That includes changing an 80-bed residence, a tennis advanced, and a stadium with an even bigger corridor of residence.
The venture helps the school’s new three-year on-campus residing requirement. Completion is predicted within the autumn of 2026.
Lastly in Florida, Balfour Beatty is renovating a eating corridor at Nova Southeastern College in Fort Lauderdale. The $23.9m venture is predicted to complete in 2026.
In Los Angeles, the corporate received the roughly $170m contract to rebuild Inglewood Excessive College.
Based in 1905, it counts singer Sonny Bono and Seaside Boys guitarist David Marks amongst its alumni.
Balfour Beatty will construct round 110,000 sq ft of recent house and modernise an additional 105,000 sq ft of the prevailing college, together with its gymnasium, auditorium and woodshop.
Completion is predicted in 2027.
