A group led by Aecom has gained a four-year contract to ship the 16km first stage of a lightweight rail system for Texas capital Austin.
Aecom will work alongside consultants Parsons, STV, Turner & Townsend, Ardmore Roderick and CAS Consulting as LINC Austin. The consortium will present programme and undertaking administration, building administration and technical professional providers all through the design, building and commissioning course of.
The $7bn rail line can have 15 stations that can combine with present public transport providers to scale back congestion within the metropolis.
