Cimic Group firm Leighton Asia has acquired Malaysia-headquartered Maverick United Consulting Engineers for an undisclosed sum.
Maverick specialises in designing information centres, an increasing sector Leighton Asia is concentrating on.
“The mix of Maverick and Leighton Asia will permit us to supply a wider vary of providers and options that our purchasers are on the lookout for in Asia, at a time when the area is predicted to be the quickest rising information centre market,” mentioned Cimic Group government chairman Juan Santamaria.
Leighton Asia can also be concentrating on different high-technology initiatives like semiconductor and clear room manufacturing amenities.
Leighton Asia managing director Brad Davey mentioned: “With Maverick becoming a member of our staff, Leighton Asia’s early contractor involvement capabilities will likely be enhanced, offering a powerful benefit for our purchasers to work with Leighton Asia whereas design improvement is within the early levels.”
